NomadHomeGR is designed to make it easier for digital nomads and expats to find mid-term homes in Greece and connect directly with homeowners.
Because every rental conversation happens between real people, staying safe starts with good communication and common sense. We encourage everyone to take reasonable steps to verify information, protect their personal details, and never rush into an agreement.
We don’t act as a booking agent or intermediary, and we don’t guarantee the identity, ownership, condition, or legality of any property listed on the platform. Always do your own checks before making a payment or signing an agreement.

Take your time. Ask questions. Verify before you pay.
Finding a home for a few months is a big decision. Before committing to a property, we recommend:
🔎 Check the listing carefully
Read the description, look closely at the photos, and make sure the information about the property, location, availability, and price is clear.
💬 Communicate through NomadHomeGR
Keep your initial conversations within the platform. Don’t feel pressured to move immediately to another messaging service.
📹 Ask for a video tour
If you can’t visit the property in person, ask the homeowner for a live video call or video tour. This can help you confirm that the property exists and matches the listing.
📍 Verify the location
Make sure the address or general location matches what has been advertised. If something doesn’t seem right, ask questions.
👤 Get to know the homeowner
Ask who you’ll be renting from and, where appropriate, request reasonable evidence that they own or are authorized to rent the property.
💶 Be careful with payments
Never send money simply because someone is pressuring you to “secure” a property quickly. Understand exactly what you’re paying for, who you’re paying, and under what terms.
📄 Put the agreement in writing
Before moving in, make sure you and the homeowner agree on important details such as rental period, monthly rent, deposit, utilities, cancellation terms, and responsibilities.
🚩 Trust your instincts
If a deal seems unusually cheap, the homeowner refuses reasonable questions, information keeps changing, or you’re being pressured to pay immediately, step back and investigate further.

You can report a listing if you believe it:
- Contains false or misleading information
- Uses stolen or misleading photos
- Appears to be fraudulent or suspicious
- Contains an incorrect or misleading price
- Misrepresents the location or property
- Appears to be posted without the owner’s authorization
- Contains prohibited or inappropriate content
- Is no longer available but remains active
- Violates our Terms & Conditions
How to report
Use the Report Listing option on the property page and tell us what concerns you.
Please provide as much useful information as possible. We may review the listing and take appropriate action, which can include requesting additional information, editing or removing the listing, or restricting the account.

Your experience matters.
If another user behaves inappropriately, suspiciously, or violates our rules, please let us know.
You can report a user for things such as:
- Harassment or abusive behavior
- Fraudulent or deceptive activity
- Impersonation
- Spam or unwanted solicitation
- Requests for suspicious payments
- Attempts to bypass platform rules
- Threatening or inappropriate behavior
- Repeatedly violating our Terms & Conditions
What happens after a report?
We review reports based on the information available to us and may contact the people involved for additional information.
Depending on the circumstances, we may take action such as:
- Asking for clarification or verification
- Removing content
- Restricting or suspending an account
- Removing a listing
- Taking other appropriate action under our policies
Please don’t use reports to settle ordinary disagreements about rent, deposits, property condition, or other contractual matters. Whenever possible, try to resolve legitimate rental disputes directly and in writing with the other party.
